Blogging is one of my favorite side hustles for making cash from a computer. Making money through blogging is slow to start, but picks up speed as you produce content. With blogging, articles you wrote years ago continue to make money.

Blogging is all about compounding efforts. You might write a blog post which gets 1,000 pageviews per month. At a $15 RPM, your display ads would earn $15 per month from that one article.

Blogging allows you to create an army of articles. Each article earns you some money, but together, adds up to a nice income.

Generally, you can earn around $1,000 for every 30,000 pageviews. Some blogs earn more and some earn less, but $1k for 30k pageviews is typical. 

Amazon FBA

Selling on Amazon has made thousands of individuals very wealthy. Fulfillment by Amazon allows you to send products into the Amazon Warehouse, where it’s stored and then shipped upon sale. Therefore, all you need to do is focus on finding products to sell.

You can find products to sell in a variety of ways. Most commonly, people find products in one store and sell it for higher on Amazon. Alternatively, you can apply for a reseller permit and find wholesalers to supply products.

Other people like to dropship products. Dropshipping is where you list a product for sale on Amazon that you don’t actually own. However, you can buy the product cheaper at a different store. Once the product sells on Amazon, you buy the product to ship directly to the customer.

People are using Twitter every day to make money online. You don’t need 100,000 followers either. I’ve seen people make $1,000 per week with a small following.

You’ll first need to pick a niche, or a topic of interest to tweet about. Examples of niches are weight loss, index fund investing, and paper crafts.

Look at it this way, you may know how to help people lose weight. With a few Facebook ads, you could get people to sign up for a one hour consultation over Zoom. The consultations cost $90, so with 30 customers you’re making $2,700 per month.

The problem with online consulting is too many people are pretending to be experts. I’ve seen plenty of people try to be consulting experts who could not produce results. They earn a few bucks in the beginning, but are fired when they can’t produce results.

Main point, you can make a lot of money in consulting, but you need to be good. Always look to provide value for your customers and the money will follow.

If you’re a creative soul and can crank out a blog article, you can make a lot of money freelance writing. If you know Search Engine Optimization, you can make a ton of money!

Bloggers who are already making good money will pay well for a good freelancer. SEO skills are highly sought after, so you should be able to charge more. What happens if you’re able to land a job which pays $0.30 per word?

At $0.30 per word, your 2,000 word article now makes you $600! So to make $10,000 per month, you would have to write about 17 articles. 

Obviously, it’s going to take time to build up to a rate of $0.30 per word. However, freelance writing is a service which is in demand and has profit potential.

YouTube Marketing

YouTube is the best way to sell online products for free. Your audience builds a large amount of trust in you when you produce awesome content. Your trust can convert into product sales when you’ve got a good product and a following.

Most marketers shy away from YouTube because they don’t want to show their face. Therefore, you have less competition and more potential for profit.

Not only can you sell products, but you can earn ad revenue as well. The more views your videos get, the higher your earnings.

Virtual Assistant

Virtual assistants are growing in demand. You can specialize in social media like Pinterest or do general assistant work like emails. Typically, Virtual assistants are paid on a per hour basis.
