Generally, ad campaigns run for two to six months. An ad campaign is how long an ad will be shown on your car. You will need to get the wrap removed at the end of the campaign.

A full wrap advertisement is the highest paying wrap. Rear window ads are the least profitable. Therefore, you should focus on full wrap ads if you’re looking for the most amount of money.

Start by joining a car wrap agency in order to advertise on your car for money. Car wrap agencies find advertisers and people willing to advertise and pairs them together. These agencies handle all of the technical details behind car wrap advertising.

After joining, you will be asked to approve an advertisement. Then, you’ll need to head to your local car wrap company to apply the wrap.

So, which companies will pay you to advertise?

Wrapify

Wrapify is one of the top agencies for car wrap advertising. The best part about Wrapify is the use of technology so you earn a fair share for your driving.

Campaigns with Wrapify last at least four weeks. So you’re guarenteed about a month of ad revenue. However, Wrapify works with some of the largest brands. We all know larger brands have more money for advertising!

Wrapify pays you for visibility. So driving through a busy street in LA or Seattle is worth more than a dusty dirt road.

Luckily, Wrapify is available nationwide. So you should be able to get paid to advertise on your car anywhere in the United States. Ridshare drivers working with Uber or Lyft are also able to get paid for wrapping their car.

Free Car Media

Free car media is another website which will pay you for car advertising. Fill out the driver application and tell them about your driving habits. You will be notified via email once you’re selected for an ad campaign.

However, most of Free Car Media’s advertisements are rear window display ads. Rear window display ads make around $50 per month. Unfortunately, you’ll be responsible for installing rear window ads yourself.

Full car wraps will earn you up to $400 per month. Most ad campaigns run between 6 and 24 months.

Requirements to join Carvertise include driving at least 30 miles per day, a clean driving record, a 2008 model car or newer with a factory paint job.

Carvertise pays around $100 per month for a car wrap advertisement and is paid through direct deposit. Some campaigns pay up to $200 per month. Carvertise does say that you’ll earn between $300 and $1,200 per campaign, which generally lasts between 2 and 6 months!

Other car wrap agencies

Wrapify, Carvertise, and Free Car Media are all great companies. However, they aren’t your only options when it comes to wrapping your car. Here are some other great options:

• Referral Cars – works on commission based and non-commission based ads. Commission based allows you to get matched quickly and earn if business is referred. Referral cars says they are able to match 95% of people with a commission based advertisement.
• Sticker Ride – allows you to earn money with ads, but also provides discounts on driving expenses like auto insurance.
• Pay Me for Driving – Available in the St. Louis area only. Advertise for local companies.
• Nickelytics – Similar to Wrapify. Nickelytics requires you to drive 30 miles per day through highly populated areas. You can still drive for Uber or Lyft while being apart of Nickelytics.

I recommend you visit each car wrap agency and find the one you want to work with. Feel free to try it for a campaign or two and switch if you don’t like it.

What if I don’t like an advertisement?

You are allowed to approve or deny an advertisement before your car is wrapped. Ultimately, this is to prevent you from driving around with an ad you don’t support. However, you are unable to change the advertisements color, look, and feel.

Do I need a car wrap agency?

No, going with a car wrap agency makes the process easy. You can simply sign up, drive, and get paid to advertise on your car. However, there’s nothing that says you can’t approach companies on your own.

The hardest part of going solo is convincing a company to work with you. Once you do find one, find a car wrap company that can add a wrap for you. Essentially, you’re just cutting out the middleman.

Obviously, cutting out the middle man is going to require more work on your part. However, doing so will allow you to earn more money each month.
