What is Spocket?

Spocket is a dropshipping app that integrates with ecommerce stores like Shopify and WooCommerce. Dropshipping is made simple because Spocket has vetted and made accessible quality product suppliers. Easily import products to your store and validate the orders to process.

Basically, Spocket allows you to work with multiple product suppliers in one easy to use dashboard.

For example, you could start a backpack ecommerce store. You can search for backpacks on Spocket and with a few clicks, they’ll be listed on your website for sale. Adding products with Spocket is way easier than tracking down backpack suppliers on your own.

Once someone makes a sale, you’ll still be responsible for placing the order with the supplier. However, Spocket makes filling orders extremely easy.

All you have to do to place an order is log into your Spocket dashboard and validate the order. You can include specific instructions to the supplier if needed. The supplier receives the order and ships it directly to your customer.

What are the benefits of using Spocket?

Spocket has free and low cost plans, but the real benefit is how easy it is to set up a dropshipping store. With paid plans, you can order samples, have branded invoicing, easily place unlimited orders, and have email and chat support. Making money is easy because Spocket allows you to focus more time on finding customers.

Free plan

Spocket does offer a free plan, but that only gets you access to browse product inventory. So if you’re unsure if Spocket is right for you then you can see what products are available. Other dropshipping apps might require you to pay before you can browse inventory.

Signing up for the free plan is a good way to start doing your product research. You can get an idea of what products your store is going to sell. If you’re not impressed with the selection, then you haven’t risked any money.

Low cost plans

Spocket has low-cost plans which any new dropshipper can afford. As of right now, the cheapest plan is $24 per month which gets you 25 unique products. Access to premium products starts at the $49 per month plan, but large scale dropshipping happens at $99.

Sample Ordering

You can order product samples from each of the suppliers. With product samples, you can test for product quality and take custom product photos.

In order to make money dropshipping, you’ve got to think of your customers first. You shouldn’t be selling low-quality products, so it’s important to test the quality. Spocket does vet each supplier, but you should vet the supplier as well.

Additionally, custom product photos can help sell your product. Custom photos are what is going to set your dropshipping store apart from someone else’s. The picture is what is going to sell the product, since the customer can’t actually see the product.

Branded Invoicing

You get access to branded invoicing with the $49 per month plan. Branded invoicing makes you look like a reputable company. Customers don’t want to order products from your website to find out it came from a different business.

Building a brand is important if you’re looking to build a loyal fanbase. What if they really like the product, but don’t remember where they purchased it? Branding helps people remember so they can keep coming back to your website.

Easy Product Importing

Importing the products couldn’t be easier. Once you’ve found the product, you can adjust the price and import directly to your store.

Orders are Easy to Place

Just like importing products, placing an order to ship to your customer is just as easy. Simply log into your Spocket dashboard to see what’s sold and click the place order button. You can include specific instructions to the supplier, but it’s not necessary.

Unlimited Orders

There is no cap to how many orders you can place with Spocket. You won’t be charged for having a high volume of orders.

Email and Chat Support

You can also get email and chat support for any technical issues that arise. Someone from Spocket will be there to answer your questions.

Where can you sell Spocket products?

You can sell Spocket products on your own web stores, such as Shopify, Wix, WooCommerce, and BigCommerce. Selling Spocket products on third-party marketplaces, such as Amazon or Ebay, is not allowed.

Is Spocket reliable?

Spocket is a legitimate company who is accredited with the Better Business Bureau. As of writing, Spocket has an A rating with the BBB. Spocket is a relatively new company, but they are a legitimate business.

Spocket vs. Oberlo: What’s the difference?

Oberlo is cheaper and has a wider range of products, but shipping can be slow due to global sourcing. Spocket has fewer products and costs slightly more, but faster shipping based in EU/US and allows for branding.

At the end of the day, you’re starting a business and the cost of either is negligible. However, Oberlo does offer a free plan and an $8 per month middle of the road plan. Therefore, bootstrap dropshippers might lean toward Oberlo.

However, just because one company is cheaper, doesn’t make them better. Oberlo gives you access to suppliers across the globe which has downsides. Product quality isn’t always top of the line and shipping can take a long time when coming from overseas.

Spocket focuses on vetting suppliers from the EU and US, which means your products are located in the EU or US. Therefore, you know the shipping times are going to be faster which customers love.

If you’re focusing on a branded approach, Spocket is your best choice. Spocket allows for branded invoicing, while Oberlo doesn’t.

Spocket pricing: How much is it?

The most popular Spocket plan is $49  per month. At $49, you get 250 unique products, 25 premium products, branded invoicing, email and chat support. To list more products, you’ll need to upgrade to the empire plan which costs $99. Alternatively, you can get the starter program for only $24 per month.

Does Spocket have a free plan?

Spocket does have a free plan, but it’s only for browsing products. If you want to use Spocket for your store you will have to upgrade to the starter plan.

Is Spocket worth the money?

Spocket is worth the money if you are serious about creating your own dropshipping brand. The product selection is growing as Spocket’s business grows. Ultimately, the quality products, vetted suppliers, quick delivery, support, and ease of use are worth the money.
